Job Notifications for August 22

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

We hope that wherever you are in the TMA Supply Chain “job bulletin” universe, that you’re enjoying the summer! B.C. and Alberta have enjoyed some phenomenal weather, much sunnier and warmer than normal, and those in the central and eastern part of Canada….well, maybe it won’t rain today…?

We have some really unique Supply roles up for grabs, starting with JOB378 in the London Ontario area, looking for (are you ready ?) a REGISTERED NURSE to take on their Contracting Director’s role. The client needs someone who can work with hospitals and healthcare providers and maintain clinically focused relationships and can analyze, classify, and promote products.  If you know of a Registered Nurse who would consider this opportunity, please contact Tim !

JOB377 is for the same client in London, looking for a Contracting Administrator for an initial 15 month assignment, with a very good potential for permanent full time placement.

ATTENTION ALL FLEET ADMINISTRATORS – JOB383 for a Contract Fleet Specialist in the Mississauga area. Bring your background with a varied fleet of cars, trucks, etc. Our client has a fleet of 400 vehicles for this individual to manage.

To all candidates in the Calgary and Edmonton areas, we have a well respected client in Alberta, looking for candidates with construction, major projects, and oil and gas backgrounds; to take on their Sourcing Specialists role (JOB367, 3 needed) and their Procurement Supervisor (JOB368) roles. They’re motivated, so kindly respond asap!

Thinking of Calgary, we also have JOB379 for a Purchasing Team Lead. Bring your background in bidding, tendering, capital projects and other interesting assignments.  The ideal candidate will bring a background and understanding from the public sector, but it is not mandatory.

And speaking of the public sector, JOB375 is for a Supervisor of Purchasing Operations, east of the Greater Toronto Area. Bring your public sector background, C.P.P. (and other) supply chain designations, and your ability, or interest in, managing others.  Tim says it’s a good opportunity, with a great organization, reporting to a very well respected and fine mentor.

Finally, JOB384 for a Sourcing Specialist in the north central GTA has just launched. It’s an interesting role for someone with a background in INDIRECT SPEND, involved with buying marketing, promotional, advertising, and similar ‘commodities.’  A background from within the pharmaceutical or consumer products industry would be helpful! Don’t delay, respond TODAY !

That’s it for now! Enjoy the summer!
