Tim Moore, of Tim Moore Associates, is the only recruiter having the privilege of having been recognized and associated with the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC).

Most candidates we represent are seasoned veterans that have received accredited training from PMAC and have either attained their Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation, previously C.P.P., or are actively working toward it. The CSCMP accreditation is the highest level of purchasing achievement one can attain in Canada - some say North America.

Our History

Tim Moore began his career with practical "hands on" management and coordination of the purchasing, inventory, and distribution functions for several national and international automotive and publishing firms before joining the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC). He has been sourcing, recruiting, and placing Purchasing and Supply Chain specialists for Canada's leading employers, for over a decade now.

Tim initially created, designed and launched the highly successful "Employment Referral Services", during his early career as the Association's National Director of Membership Services. Through his previous employment and involvement with PMAC, Tim also served on several national committees and task forces. He has met, and continues to work with many leading members and purchasing practitioners right across Canada.

During his tenure with the association, Tim was promoted to National Director of Education Services, where he worked with many of North America's leading supply management academics, professors, and university instructors, including - Professor Mike Leenders, and Professor Jean Nollet to name just a few. As the National Director of Education Services, Tim's role was to manage the education and accreditation program; and he also contributed to PMAC's national member magazine "Progressive Purchasing" (which he also once served as Editor) and other related periodicals.

Tim is an accomplished writer, speaker and trainer on procurement and supply chain issues, and continues to be an invited member and contributor on various academic and professional committees. This has included (but is not limited to):

Sheridan College's Program Advisory Committee (PAC) on their Business Process Management - Graduate Certificate program (supply focus), the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council (CSCSC), and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) - Supply Chain Occupational Standards Development Committee.

Tim's background also includes working with several of Canada's most respected charities including the United Way and he has also served as Chairman of the Board of Centennial College's Self Employment Assistance (SEA) Program which fosters and develops new entrepreneurs in the Toronto area.
