JOB908 is for a Sourcing Manager ($75K – $ 90K) with a manufacturer of food related specialty items. Help ensure supply security and oversee vital Supplier relationships. Work externally with a diverse supplier base primarily in North America; and internally with Sales, Operations, Quality, Product Development and Finance. Bring 5 years of purchasing and materials management – ideally in the food/beverage/ingredients/consumer goods markets. Proven knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor management, strategic sourcing and contract negotiations.

JOB910 is for a Commodity Buyer, ideally from the automotive sector. Be involved with buying commodities such as steel (cold, coiled, hot forged), aluminum (bar), and myriad plastics, and rubber, used in the production of various automotive components and sub assemblies. Bring your 3 – 5 years of raw materials, commodity and steel buying experience. An ability to read and interpret blueprints or plans would be helpful as well, along with ERP and/or Excel.

JOB907 ($55K – $ 62K) is with a busy hi tech manufacturer in the Ottawa region, looking for a Supervisor, Logistics and Warehousing. Be involved with all aspects of inventory control, and work with a busy Production area to maintain a continuous flow of parts and kits for the production floor. Manage the kitting of material for the production area and customer orders. Manage cycle counts, coordinate with preferred vendors, freight forwarders, LTL/FTL carriers, Customs Brokers and couriers. Bring your knowledge of the Logistics, distribution and warehousing function. An MRP knowledge including customer order to invoice, demand signals, lead times, scheduling, want dates – is ideal. Ability to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods approval and Canadian Secret Clearance is mandatory.
